Guwahati, 25 October (HS): A total of nine candidates filed their nomination papers for the five Assembly Constituencies to be contested for the By-Election on Thursday.

Four candidates have filed nomination for 11 no. Dholai LA constituency, One has filed for 31 Sidli, two have filed for 32 Bongaigaon and two candidates have filed their nominations for 88 Samaguri Assembly Constituency. No candidate has filed a nomination for 77 Behali Assembly Constituency today. With these nominations, the total number of nominations filed has reached to 14. The deadline for submission of nominations for the by-Election is October 25.
