Jaipur, 18 Oct (HS):- Ten volunteers of Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were injured in an attack during the Kojagiri celebration
in Jaipur on Thursday night.
The RSS volunteers and their family members had gathered at a temple to celebrate the Kojagiri Purnima, to which two area residents objected. The wordy duel led to use of abusive language and later the
volunteers were attacked with sharp weapons. According to police one Nasib
Choudhari and his son called others and attacked the volunteers with the knife.
Ten RSS volunteers received injuries on the chest and
stomach. Police arrested Nasib Choudhari and his son in this connection. The
injured were shifted to a hospital.
People blocked the Delhi-Ajmer highway protesting
the attack. The block was lifted following intervention by the police around
1.30 am.
The police are searching for other people involved
in the attack.
