
Kolkata, 2 September(HS): Former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former captain of Team India, Saurabh Ganguly along with Sunil Chhetri, the captain of the Indian football team, is likely to accompany West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee her proposed foreign trip from 12th to 22nd September.
As per sources, Mamata will go to Mardide from Barcelona in Spain where there is a craze for football. After that she will go Dubai and from there she will be back to Kolkata on 23 September. After getting the green signal from the Central Government, preparations have been started for Mamta''s visit.
It is learnt that Saurabh Ganguly will leave for Spain from Kolkata and Sunil Chhetri, who has just become the father of a son, if everything goes well, will leave for Barcelona from Bangalore.
