Rajouri, 02 June (HS): A terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces on Friday morning in the forest area of Dassal area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that more terrorists are still trapped in the cordon of the security forces. The campaign of the security forces to kill them is going on.

The military official said a joint search operation was launched by the army and police after suspicious movement was noticed on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. During this, the terrorists started firing on the security forces. After this the encounter started. During this, a terrorist was killed.

Jammu and Kashmir's ADGP Mukesh Singh said that a terrorist has been killed in this encounter and the operation of the security forces is going on.
