Imphal, June 17 (HS): Earthquake tremors were felt in Manipur today (Saturday) morning. According to the information received, an earthquake was felt in Manipur at 10:30:12 am. Its intensity was measured at 3.2 on the Richter scale. There is no news of any damage from anywhere due to the earthquake.

According to information received from the Indian Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 45 km below the ground in Manipur's Kamjong area. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 24.81 north latitude and 94.50 east longitude.

It may be noted that it has been raining in the entire Northeast these days for more than a week, due to which life has been affected. In such a situation, the shock of earthquake is scaring people more. On Friday also, tremors were felt in the neighboring country of Bangladesh, which was felt in Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
