Hojai (Assam), 09 August (HS): A Tiranga painting competition was organised by “G” Company of the 1st Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur, at Government Primary School, Hojai, under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Sunil Kaushik, Commandant, 1st Battalion, SSB, Sonapur. The theme of the competition was “Patriotism, National Unity and the Tricolour.”

A total of 46 students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity through paintings depicting patriotism, respect for the National Flag and national unity.

The students securing the first, second and third positions were felicitated with medals. School teachers, local residents and SSB personnel also participated in the programme.

During the event, students were sensitised to the importance of respecting the National Flag, patriotism and civic responsibilities. The programme aimed to inculcate a spirit of patriotism among children and youth, strengthen national unity and spread awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.--------------
