Guwahati, 09 August (HS): Congress has once again sought the support of AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal for the upcoming Nagaon by-election, with senior Congress leader Ripun Bora stating that the party cannot win the election without AIUDF’s assistance.

Bora appealed to AIUDF not to field a candidate in the by-election and instead extend wholehearted support to Congress. He urged Ajmal and his party to help Congress secure victory in the Nagaon constituency.
