Lucknow, 09 August (H.S.): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief

Minister Brajesh Pathak and BJP Member of Parliament Dinesh Sharma attended the

'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign in Lucknow on Sunday, complimenting the big turnout

as a show of national togetherness and pride. As part of the festivities

leading up to August 15, Independence Day, a large number of individuals took

to the streets with national flags.

Addressing the initiative, Deputy Chief Minister Pathak

stated, Today, Tiranga Yatra has worked to deeply instill the spirit of

nationalism among the masses in Uttar Pradesh, well ahead of Independence

Day. Highlighting popular enthusiasm, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma observed,

This is not a Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, but a Har Dil Mein Tiranga

campaign. It is a mood that ignites the sense of national unity,

integrity, and harmony.

Sharma commented on the diverse involvement, saying,

This is PM Modi's India and Yogi Adityanath's Uttar Pradesh, where the

youth, women, sons and daughters have taken to the streets. There is such a

vast sea of people, one that looks to have no beginning or end.

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, a Government of India

effort inaugurated in 2022 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav festivities,

urges individuals to display the national flag in their homes ahead of

Independence Day. It seeks to deepen residents' ties to the national flag and

India's liberation struggle, particularly among younger generations, while also

honoring the sacrifices of freedom fighters who played critical roles in the

country's independence.
