Prayagraj, Aug 7 (HS): The National Cadet Corps (NCC)

witnessed an overwhelming response as a record 305 students participated in the

enrolment process for 50 Junior Division/Junior Wing (JD/JW) and 53 Senior

Division/Senior Wing (SD/SW) at National Inter College, Handia, under the aegis

of 15 UP Battalion NCC, Prayagraj.

The enrolment drive attracted enthusiastic participation

from boys and girls aspiring to become NCC cadets and contribute towards

nation-building through discipline, leadership, and selfless service. The

selection process included document verification, physical fitness assessment,

and document checking in accordance with NCC enrolment norms to select the most

deserving candidates.

Commanding Officer, 15 UP Battalion NCC, Col Ritu Srivastava

Rawat, expressed satisfaction over the unprecedented response and stated that

the record participation reflects the growing popularity of the NCC among the

youth. She appreciated the wholehearted support extended by the Principal,

Associate NCC Officer (ANO), teaching staff, and NCC personnel for ensuring the

smooth, transparent, and fair conduct of the enrolment process.

The successful enrolment drive at National Inter College,

Handia marks another milestone for 15 UP Battalion NCC in expanding the NCC

movement and inspiring the youth of Prayagraj to serve the nation with dedication,
