Bhubaneswar, 06 August (H.S.): The Department of School and Mass Education, Odisha, has released the spot merit list for Plus II Phase-I admissions for the 2026–27 academic session.
According to official data, a total of 25,332 students have been selected in the spot merit list. During the overall selection process, 46,570 students were chosen from 87,549 applicants.
Among the selected candidates, the highest number of admissions has been recorded in the Arts stream with 14,180 students, followed by Science with 7,226 students, Commerce with 2,601 students, Vocational courses with 1,068 students, and Sanskrit with 257 students.
The department stated that the selection process has been conducted as per guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent admission procedure.
