
Bhubaneswar, 06 August (H.S.) : The Odisha government has initiated soil testing work for the proposed flyover on Nandankanan Road as part of its broader plan to ease traffic congestion in the capital city.
Public Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan stated that the government is committed to decongesting Bhubaneswar and improving urban mobility. He emphasized that infrastructure development has significantly accelerated in recent years.
“Compared to previous years, road construction activities have more than doubled now,” the minister said, highlighting the state’s focus on strengthening road networks and urban infrastructure.
He further added that the government is aiming to complete the flyover project within the stipulated timeline to ensure timely benefits for commuters.
According to the minister, the proposed flyover on Nandankanan Road will play a crucial role in reducing traffic bottlenecks and enhancing connectivity, ultimately helping to decongest Bhubaneswar city.
