Imphal, 06 August (HS): Security forces arrested two active insurgent cadres in separate operations conducted across Manipur on August 5.
In the first operation, an active cadre of the RPF/PLA, identified as Thokchom Daimond Meitei alias Tamthouba (27), a resident of Serou Bazar Awang Leikai in Kakching district, was apprehended from Sagolband Khuraijam Leikai in Imphal West district.
In another operation on the same day, security forces arrested an active cadre of the KCP (PWG), identified as Moirangthem Ramesh Singh alias Leingakpa (29), a resident of Moirang Khunou Makha Leikai in Bishnupur district. He was arrested from Moirang Khunou Block Lamkhai.
Further investigation into both cases is underway.---------------
