Imphal, 06 Aug. (HS): Manipur Police detained a man and seized 290 litres of illicit DIC liquor along with a vehicle during an operation in Kakching district.

According to police on Thursday, Leimapokpam Olin Meitei (34), a resident of Thongjao Mamang Leikai, was detained from the Aihang area under Waikhong Police Station. During the operation, police recovered 290 litres of DIC liquor and seized a Maruti Alto car (Registration No. MN03P-5884).

Further investigation into the case is underway.------------
