
Amravati, 06 Aug (HS): The proposals for development of Gurukunj
Mozari and Rs 224 for historical Kaundinyapur have been submitted for approval
to a High-Powered Committee of the state government. The estimated cost has
been mentioned at Rs 147 crore for Gurukunj and Rs 224 crore for Kaundinyapur.
Similarly a proposal of Rs 10.99 crore for development of Sant Gadgebaba
Samadhi premises has also been submitted. The information was given by local
MLA Rajesh Wankhede.
The renovation and development works will be
carried out keeping the original structure intact. The proposal has been
cleared by the District Planning Committee during the meeting chaired by
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
The development plan includes building a
lodging and boarding facilities for devotees, hall for meditation and solar
energy plant.
