
Bhubaneswar, 06 August (H.S.)r: Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. Raipur (North) MLA Purandar Mishra was also present during the meeting.
During the interaction, both sides held discussions on strengthening inter-state cooperation, promoting mutual development, and enhancing regional connectivity. The welfare of the Odia community residing in Chhattisgarh and avenues for boosting cultural exchange between the two neighbouring states also featured prominently in the talks.
Sharing details of the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the discussions were constructive and focused on fostering closer ties between the two states across key sectors.
The meeting is considered significant as Odisha and Chhattisgarh share a long border and common interests in areas such as infrastructure development, trade, and tribal welfare.
