New Delhi, 04 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared a Sanskrit verse from the Bhagavad Gita on X, highlighting the transformative power of knowledge and emphasizing that talent is refined through perseverance, dedication and continuous effort.
In his post, the Prime Minister quoted the verse:
“Na hi jñānena sadṛśaṁ pavitram iha vidyate; tat svayaṁ yoga-saṁsiddhaḥ kālenātmani vindati.”
Explaining its meaning, he said, “There is nothing in this world more purifying than knowledge. One whose mind has been purified through Karma Yoga or sincere spiritual discipline ultimately discovers this supreme knowledge within oneself when the time is right.”
PM Modi said that talent evolves and reaches its full potential through persistent effort and unwavering commitment. He noted that India's youth are embracing these values and bringing pride to the nation through their achievements across the world.
He further remarked that nothing is more sacred than knowledge and that a person devoted to self-discipline and spiritual practice gradually realises this wisdom within oneself over time.
