New Delhi, 16 August (H.S.): The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday released the provisional answer keys for 84 subjects of the UGC-NET June 2026 examination.

Candidates can now check the provisional answer keys and challenge any answer they believe to be incorrect. According to the NTA, the objection window opened on August 16 and will remain available until 11:59 pm on August 18.

Candidates raising objections will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for each question challenged. The deadline for payment of the processing fee is also August 18 at 11:59 pm.

The provisional answer key has been released as part of the post-examination challenge process. Candidates are advised to carefully review the answers and submit their objections within the stipulated deadline.

The NTA will examine the challenges received from candidates before preparing the final answer key. Changes, if any, will be incorporated after the objections are reviewed.

UGC-NET is conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions in universities and other higher educational institutions across the country.
