Sant Kabir Nagar, 11 August (H.S.): In the district

of Sant Kabir Nagar, during the inauguration and foundation stone laying program

for 201 public welfare projects costing more than Rs. 684 crore,. Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, Rahul

ji and Akhilesh Yadav ji, I don't know if you are educated or not, but the

things said by you people sometimes become laughable, put you in the dock.

Only a government that respects your faith will be

able to bring about development. Those who do not hold respect in their hearts

for your faith cannot even bring about development.. Today, the Congress and

the Samajwadi Party that are doing this propaganda, I want to ask them what

they had done? Deaths happened due to diseases, the poor man's child would die,

they remained silent... We eradicated the disease as well, and we eradicated

the mafia too.. If you harass my daughter. Then there will be only one

consequence: either you'll have to go to jail, or prepare for a trip to hell.

He blasted the two parties over encephalitis

fatalities, claiming that while in office, they did little to stop the spread. Encephalitis

formerly terrorized this region. People were suffering from brain fever, but

Congress and the Samajwadi Party did little to address it. Adityanath said he

considers himself lucky that encephalitis was eradicated after the BJP-led NDA

government took office. He said that there was no more fear at festivals and

that anyone molesting a lady or plundering a trader would either be imprisoned

or sent to hell. The priest-politician criticized past governments of having

misdirected their priorities when distributing funding.

We can build religious corridors because we

have the money and wish to honor India's past. Previously, there was money, but

it was used on the construction of cemetery boundary walls. That money

was never spent on a Sant Kabir Academy, he explained. Adityanath stated

that 95,000 households in Sant Kabir Nagar have got homes under the Pradhan

Mantri Awas Yojana, while toilets have been built for around 3.5 lakh needy

families. For the previous nine years, more than three lakh farmers in the

district have received more than Rs 6,000 per year under the PM-Kisan Samman

Nidhi, he added.

The chief minister also stated that his

administration is striving to build a development authority in Sant Kabir

Nagar, as well as achieving its one district, one medical college

target.
