Solapur, 11 Aug (HS): Maharashtra Construction

Workers Welfare Board has announced financial help of Rs 25,000 for registered

women workers, during their maternity delivery. The mother should apply within

one year of the delivery.

The decision has given a major relief to

construction labourer and will not affect their earnings. The women can take

care of the health of their new born child.

The Department of Energy, Industry, Labour Welfare

and Mining has issued a Government Resolution (GR) to this effect. The women

workers should apply in the prescribed format.
