
Prayagraj, 11 August (H.S.): The Globally Revered institution, Chinmaya
Mission, sanctified by the vision and blessings of Pujya Gurudev Swami
Chinmayananda Ji, is commemorating 75 glorious years. ‘Amrit Mahotsav’
celebrating the completion of 75 years is dedicated to spreading the timeless
wisdom of India’s spiritual and Vedantic traditions through knowledge, service
and self-transformation. As the part of this landmark celebration, the
35,000-km-long ‘Amrit Yatra’ will arrive in Prayagraj on 13 August 2026,
bringing together spiritual values, cultural heritage and the vision of
nation-building, under the inspiring leadership of Pujya Swami Abhedanand Ji.
The teachers and students of Maharshi Patanjali
Vidya Mandir will proudly participate in the 2-day Amrit Yatra of Pujya Gurudev
Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati Ji on 13th and 14th August 2026, through a series
of ceremonial and participatory events.
On 13 August, the students of Maharshi Patanjali
Vidya Mandir will extend a warm and auspicious welcome to the revered Swamis,
Yuva Veers and devotees accompanying the Amrit Vahini, carrying the Bust and
sacred Padukas of Swami Chinmayananda Ji. The welcome will be enriched by the
sacred sounds of conches, chanting of shlokas, placards, kalash, flags and showers
of flower petals, creating an atmosphere of reverence and celebration.
A Cultural Evening will be held at AMA Hall,
Prayagraj, from 5:00 p.m., showcasing the inspiring spiritual journey of Swami
Chinmayananda Ji and the glorious legacy of Chinmaya Mission. Under the
guidance of their teachers, students of Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir will
present a vibrant portrayal of the significance and enduring relevance of Swami
ChinmayanandJi’s teachings. The programme is set to be attended by important personalities
of the city.
On 14th August morning, students of Maharshi
Patanjali Group of Schools will join for an interactive session with Yuva Veers
of Chinmaya Mission. At 5pm a grand
procession of Amrit Yatra will proceed from All Saints’ Cathedral to Subhash
Crossing , to commemorate this historic milestone. The procession will have
with the wholehearted participation of teachers and students of the Maharshi
Patanjali Group of Schools, along with eminent citizens of Prayagraj.
