New Delhi, 08 July (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the success of the digital training campaign being conducted under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, describing it as a major milestone in digitally empowering booth-level party workers.

In a statement, Chugh said that 1,101,618 party workers from across the country have so far enrolled on the app-based Digital Learning Platform (DLP), which offers study material, videos, quizzes and digital certificates in 12 languages. The training modules cover the BJP's introduction, party history, the Panch Nishtha principles, the teachings of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Narendra Modi government's flagship schemes, the NaMo App, *Mann Ki Baat*, and other key organisational programmes.

He said the Digital Learning Platform was launched on April 6, 2026, the BJP's Foundation Day, by National President Nitin Navin, National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh and National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) Shiv Prakash. A dedicated training team constituted under the leadership of Shiv Prakash, in coordination with the party's district and mandal organisational structure, accelerated the campaign across the country.

Chugh said the campaign had set a target of training one million workers between June 23, observed as Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee's Martyrdom Day, and July 6, his birth anniversary. The campaign exceeded that goal by crossing 1.1 million trained workers and is now being expanded to the booth level.

He credited the initiative to the inspiration provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India mission, saying the organisational digital training campaign would help carry the message of good governance to the last person in society. Chugh congratulated the party leadership, training teams and lakhs of party workers, describing the achievement as the result of their dedication and collective efforts.

Among the states, Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest participation, with 183,113 workers enrolled. Tripura achieved an average of nearly 20 trained workers per booth along with an 85 per cent completion rate. Arunachal Pradesh and Chandigarh recorded participation of more than five workers per booth. Chhattisgarh (90 per cent), Arunachal Pradesh (89 per cent), Madhya Pradesh (87 per cent), Tripura (85 per cent), Himachal Pradesh (85 per cent), Nagaland (83 per cent) and Ladakh (83 per cent) all registered completion rates of over 80 per cent.

Expressing confidence about the next phase of the campaign, Chugh said the BJP aims to have at least 10 fully trained digital workers at every booth, making them the organisation's greatest strength. He said the campaign would continue with the commitment of ensuring that every party worker is trained and every booth is digitally empowered.
