Mumbai, 08 July (HS): Four members of a family died

on Wednesday due to electrocution. The incident occurred in Khamgaon in Phaltan

tehsil of Satara district when they touched fallen live wire.

According to Satara SP Nikhil Pingle, preliminary

investigation suggests that the live cable fell on the ground, one of the family

members came in contact and electrocuted. The others in an effort to save him

were also electrocuted. Police are investigating from different angles.

The deceased were identified as Satish Kisan Shinde

(45) his wife Gangu Shinde (42), son Sachin and daughter Arati. The bodies were

sent for post-mortem.
