Patel, while addressing the 11th convocation of Khwaja Moinuddin
Chishti Language University, Lucknow on Wednesday, said that the youth will
realise the dream of a developed India through knowledge, culture and
innovation. She said that the real purpose of education is not just to get a
degree, but to prepare such responsible, sensitive and cultured citizens who
play their active role in the welfare of society, nation and humanity. She said
that the youth have the most important role in realising the resolution of a
developed India-2047 and for this, coordination of knowledge, innovation, moral
values, Indian culture and social responsibility is necessary.
In her presidential address, the Governor said that language
is not merely a medium of communication, but a carrier of civilization,
culture, and knowledge. The university's efforts to promote the study of
Sanskrit, Pali, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, English, as well as German, Japanese,
Chinese, French, and Awadhi are its distinctive hallmarks. She urged students
to use their education as a means of reaching the last person in society and
actively contribute to nation-building.
Anandiben said, I am particularly satisfied that in
the past year, the university has signed 71 MoUs with various national and
international institutions. This achievement reflects the university's global
recognition, academic excellence, and commitment to research. The
Chancellor urged students to respect and promote their own language and Indian
languages, to use their knowledge for society, and to prioritize truth,
empathy, compassion, and morality in life.
Youth power is the biggest foundation of developed India:

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, the chief guest of the ceremony, said
that the purpose of education is not merely to obtain employment, but to
cultivate a superior personality by establishing a balance between knowledge,
desire, and action. He stated that India is the world's youngest nation, and
this youth power is the foundation of a developed India. By combining Indian
knowledge traditions, cultural heritage, and modern science, India has the
potential to lead the world. He urged students to embrace innovation,
entrepreneurship, and social responsibility as the foundation of their lives.
Guest of Honor and State Higher Education Minister Yogendra
Upadhyaya stated that the university is continuously establishing a new
identity in the field of higher education. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajay Taneja,
while highlighting the university's achievements, stated that 1236 out of 1270
students passed the examinations held in the 2025-26 session, and a total of
125 merit medals, including 54 gold medals, were awarded at the 11th convocation.
He stated that the university currently offers 98 academic programs and has
registered on the Study in India portal to attract foreign
students. He added that the university has so far signed Memorandums of
Understanding (MoUs) with 71 national and international institutions.
University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Taneja presented the
annual progress report, detailing the university's academic, research,
innovation, and infrastructural achievements. The program was moderated by Dr.
Neeraj Shukla.
