Lucknow, 03 July (HS): On the second day of the Advertisement

No. 01/2026 Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET-2026) three-day

written examination on Friday, the first shift from 09:30 am to 12:00 pm for

the upper primary level and the second shift from 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm for the

primary level were conducted in a peaceful, transparent and cheating-free

environment at 955 examination centers in 60 districts of the state.

Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Education

Service Selection Commission, stated that during the examination, all

examination centers were closely monitored from the AI Integrated Control

Command Room established within the Commission, in the presence of him,

members, the Secretary, the Controller of Examinations, and the Deputy

Secretary. Candidates' activities were continuously monitored through AI

cameras installed at the centers, and necessary instructions were issued.

In the first shift, after investigating suspects using

AI-based software, nine fake candidates were caught in various districts of the

state, who were taking the exam in place of other candidates, and one candidate

who entered the examination hall with a mobile phone hidden in his shoe. In the

second shift, two fake candidates were caught taking the exam in various

districts, appearing for the exam in place of others. All of them have been

handed over to the local police for further legal action. Furthermore, the

examination was conducted smoothly, transparently, without cheating, in a

clean, smooth, and timely manner at all designated examination centers, in a

well-organized environment.

The Commission Chairman stated that a total of 807,709

candidates were registered for both shifts on Friday, of which 751,321, or

93.01%, participated. Female candidates' attendance was 92.70%, while male

candidates' attendance was 93.36%. The district administration and police

administration actively cooperated in the successful conduct of the

examination.

Dr. Prashant Kumar informed that the three-day written

examination of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission,

Prayagraj's advertisement number 01/2026 Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET-2026)

is being conducted in five shifts, two each on July 2 and one other on July 4,

2026, at 955 examination centers in 60 districts of the state. In the same

sequence, the final shift of the examination on July 4 will also be conducted

with high standards of AI monitoring, purity, and security. Candidates are

requested not to pay attention to any rumors and only consider the information

released on the official website of the Commission as authentic.

Earlier on first day of exam, after investigating suspects

with the help of AI, seven fake candidates were caught in the first shift and

eight in the second shift, who were appearing in place of other candidates.

They have been handed over to the local police for legal action against them.

Furthermore, the examination was conducted smoothly, cleanly, and without any

hindrance at all centers.

A total of 807,636 candidates were registered for both

shifts on the first day, of which 684,614, or 84.76%, participated. Attendance

for female candidates was 84.69%, while for male candidates it was 84.86%. The

district and police administration actively supported the successful conduct of

the exam.

Dr. Prashant Kumar informed that as part of the three-day

UPTET-2026, the exam will be held on July 4th in a single shift. He stated that

the remaining exams will be conducted with similar AI monitoring, high

standards of integrity, and security.
