stayed proposed amendments to RTI Act

(HS): Renowned social worker Anna Hazare has withdrawn proposed hunger strike

following State Government and State RTI Department stayed the proposed

amendment to RTI Act.

Hazare has

planned to launch the hunger strike against the amendments proposed by the

government. He was of the opinion that the amendments would affect the basic

purpose of the Act.
