
Guwahati, 03 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said the state government is committed to bringing governance to the fingertips of citizens through digital initiatives aimed at enhancing ease of living.
Highlighting the success of the Sewa Setu platform on X, the Chief Minister said Assam now provides more than 800 government services online, enabling citizens to access essential public services without visiting government offices.
Dr. Sarma stated that over 1.5 crore services have already been delivered through the Sewa Setu platform, describing it as a major milestone in the state's digital governance journey.
He said the initiative reflects the government's commitment to improving service delivery, ensuring greater accessibility, transparency and convenience for citizens across Assam.-----------
