Assembly constituency

Prayagraj, 29 July (HS): On the auspicious occasion of Guru

Purnima and Ved Vyas Jayanti, Uttar Pradesh government's Industrial Development

Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi on Wednesday worshipped Lord Shiva in ancient

temples in his Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency and received the

blessings of saints. He paid obeisance to the saints and Mahants by applying

sandalwood paste, performing aarti, and garlanding them with flowers. He

received their blessings. Expressing his reverence, he respected the Guru

tradition.

On the occasion of Maharishi Ved Vyas Jayanti and Guru

Purnima, the Bharatiya Janata Party organized programs to honor and worship

saints across the state. In this sequence, Minister Nandi performed puja at

temples in the Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency, sought the blessings

of saints, and reiterated his resolve to promote Indian cultural values in

society. On this occasion, everyone prayed for harmony in society, happiness,

prosperity of the nation, and public welfare.

Minister Nandi said that in Indian culture, the position of

the Guru is considered supreme. Gurus are the guides of knowledge, values, and

spiritual consciousness. Guru Purnima is an occasion to express reverence,

respect, and gratitude to our teachers.

At the Shri Ram Temple on Vivekananda Marg High Road, he

visited and worshipped Lord Rama and Mata Janaki and prayed to the Supreme God

Mahadev and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and welfare of all the people

of the state. During this, he received the blessings of the temple priest Vinay

Kumar Pandey alias Sanno Maharaj. At the ancient Siddhpeeth Mankameshwar Temple

on the banks of the Yamuna River, he visited and worshipped Lord Bholenath and

received the blessings of the temple's Mahant Brahmachari Dharanand Maharaj. At

the Shri Ram Janaki Temple in Kidganj, he worshipped Lord Rama and Mata Janaki

and received the blessings of the temple's Mahant Shankar Lal Soni Maharaj. At

the Takshashkeshwar Tirtha Temple in Bada Shivala, Dariyabad, he prayed to the

Supreme God Mahadev and prayed for the welfare of all the people of the state.

He also received the blessings of Acharya Ravi Shankar Maharaj. At the Ram

Janaki Temple in Baluaghat Baradari, he visited and worshipped Lord Rama and

Mata Janaki and received the blessings of the revered Maharaj Mahatmadas

Mahatyagi. Took blessings of Saint Maharaj by visiting and worshipping Mahabali

Hanuman Ji seated in Hanuman Temple Leprosy Seva Ashram located in Karelabagh.
