Guwahati, 29 July (HS): In a major relief for flood-affected people in Assam, Apex Bank Limited has announced a special repayment scheme for its borrowers.

Under the scheme, eligible customers will be required to pay only the interest on their loans for the next six months. Repayment of the principal component of the EMI can be deferred during this period.

The decision has been taken to provide temporary financial relief to borrowers affected by the recent floods, easing their repayment burden while they recover from the disaster. The relief is applicable to customers who have taken loans from Apex Bank Limited.-----------
