Lucknow, 26 July (HS): On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended
Vidur Prerna Swadeshi Herbal Tea made by a women-led Self-Help
Group (SHG) from Lakhiwala village in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, on the
136th episode of his monthly radio show, Mann Ki Baat. Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked the Prime Minister, saying that this
recognition has given the state's women-led entrepreneurship a national
identity and serves as a powerful example of the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' and
'Vocal for Local' programs. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed through
official channels that the double-engine government in Uttar
Pradesh is consistently boosting rural prosperity by connecting over 250,000
women in the Bijnor district alone to self-help organizations, encouraging
financial self-reliance and local employment.
“Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji, in today's @mannkibaat program, highlighted the 'Vidura Prerna
Swadeshi Herbal Tea' prepared by the maternal power of Lakhiwala village in
Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, thereby giving national recognition to this
inspiring initiative of the state's maternal power. 'Vidura Prerna Swadeshi
Herbal Tea' is a powerful example of the resolve of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and
'Vocal for Local'. Mothers and sisters connected with self-help groups have
demonstrated through their labor, self-confidence, and innovation that even a
small effort can become the foundation of great change,” mentioned UP CM in a
post on X.
“Through the schemes of the double-engine government, the state's maternal
power is today shaping a new identity of self-reliance, self-employment, and
rural prosperity. Heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister ji for encouraging and
boosting the morale of the state's maternal power by giving this inspiring
effort a place on a national platform like 'Mann Ki Baat',” he added.
