Prayagraj, 26 July (HS): Under the aegis of #HQMBArea, the

General Officer Commanding of Purva UP & MP Sub Area and Red Eagle

Division, alongwith all ranks and veterans, paid solemn tribute to the gallant

heroes of #OperationVijay on the occasion of #KargilVijayDiwas. A wreath-laying

ceremony at Yudh Smarak, New Cantt honoured the unmatched courage, valour and

supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers who defended the nation’s sovereignty.

The ceremony reflected the enduring bond between serving

personnel and veterans, reaffirming the #IndianArmy’s unwavering commitment to

the ideals of duty, honour and selfless service. Their extraordinary sacrifice

continues to inspire generations of Indians to uphold the values they so

courageously defended.

The legacy of the Kargil heroes lives on in every soldier

and every citizen, strengthening our collective resolve to serve the nation

with pride and unwavering dedication.
