Lucknow, 26 July (HS): On Kargil Vijay Diwas, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath and numerous top BJP leaders paid respect to troops'

indomitable fortitude and outstanding heroism. On the 27th

anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

offered emotional respects to gallant Indian troops. He took to his official

social media profile to honor the ultimate sacrifices made by the military

troops. He remarked that Kargil Vijay Diwas is an enduring emblem of our

troops' courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. He bowed down to all the great

warriors of the Indian Army who gave their life in defense of the motherland.

He congratulated all inhabitants of the country on this momentous day.

In a post on X, UP CM stated, “Heartfelt congratulations to all on Kargil

Victory Day. This day is an immortal symbol of the valor, sacrifice, and

patriotism of our brave soldiers. Salutations to all the immortal heroes of the

Indian Army who laid down their lives for the defense of the motherland. Jai

Hind. #KargilVijayDiwas”

The Army launched the operation to reclaim Indian territory in the Kargil

area, which had been taken by Pakistani soldiers. Pankaj Chaudhary, Union

Minister of State for Finance and head of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, stated,

On Kargil Vijay Diwas, I pay my heartfelt respects to the immortal heroes

who made the supreme sacrifice in defence of the motherland. Kargil Vijay

Diwas, according to Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, is a time to

honour the Indian military services' indomitable valor, incomparable valour,

steadfast commitment, and unflinching patriotic spirit.

Referring to Operation Vijay, Maurya stated, In 1999, through Operation

Vijay, our brave soldiers displayed unrivaled courage in defending the

motherland and elevated India's glory to new heights. The sacrifice and

courage of all the immortal warriors who gave their life in defence of Bharat

Mata will always be an inspiration to every Indian. Jai Hind, he

said.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak stated, On the glorious anniversary

of Kargil Vijay, which reflects the unwavering courage, valour, and sacrifice of

the brave sons of Mother India, I salute the bravery and courage of all our

armed forces personnel.
