Fatehpur, 25 July (HS): On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath inaugurated and lay foundation stones for 125 development projects
worth over Rs.489 crore in Fatehpur. During his public address, the Chief
Minister complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing the
National Education Policy and enacting stringent laws against exam misconduct. “You
(PM Modi) give young people hope. By instituting the National Education Policy,
you created a mechanism through which Indian young may make their imprint in the
world. Today, when the country's youth were still apprehensive, you stepped
forward. You have developed interaction with the young, and the actions you
have done by working day and night to obtain the draft of a new Act passed by
Cabinet in order to implement a tough legislation in the country's Parliament
are laudable,” he remarked.
Yogi welcomed and congratulated PM on behalf of the youth and students of
UP. On test malpractices, Adityanath remarked that his administration has taken
a hard stance: This double-engine administration has stated from the start that
any mafia that jeopardizes the future of students and youngsters would face
just two consequences: incarceration and confiscation of their ancestral
property. We've also closely controlled these mafias. This is not something to
fool around with.
In the district of Fatehpur, at the event organized for the inauguration and
foundation stone laying of 125 development projects costing more than Rs. 489
crore, claimed that SP's agenda never included development. “As soon as they
spotted an empty plot, some SP member would seize it. The double-engine
government has been saying from the very first day that whoever has tampered
with the future of students and youth will go to jail, and we will also
confiscate the property earned by their father-grandfather. These cheating
mafias are the legacy of Congress and the Samajwadi Party. Let Saifai's
development happen, screw everything else, that's what 'those' people used to
do. The money meant for Fatehpur's schemes was being spent on dances and songs
in Saifai. Under the chairmanship of the honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi
ji, the Union Cabinet took this decision yesterday. The bill will come to
Parliament on Monday. The cheating mafias will be consigned to the dust.
He accused the Samajwadi Party of allowing such malpractices, claiming that the
current administration would not have been able to give government employment
to nearly nine lakh youth if similar practices had been permitted earlier. He
also said that development was never prioritized under the Samajwadi Party and
chastised their officials for their involvement in contracts, leases, and
unlawful land invasion.
Referring to a purported encroachment on property bought by the BJP in
Lucknow in 1990, he asserted that it was inhabited by a former Samajwadi Party
MLA and added that a bulldozer was dispatched on Friday to remove the
encroachment. The Chief Minister highlighted developments in Fatehpur,
including the creation of medical institutes and schools, as well as
achievements under the 'One District, One Product' plan. He reiterated that
growth will continue without prejudice and promised that graduates from Fatehpur
Medical College would serve the community.
Later during the day, UP CM went to the district of Jalaun, at the event
organized for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 374 development
projects costing Rs. 1,274 crore.
