Lucknow, 25 July (HS): Devshayani

Ekadashi, which commemorates Lord Vishnu's four-month cosmic slumber (Yog

Nidra). Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, usually greets

locals on this auspicious day, emphasizing the importance of spiritual

discipline, dedication, and the beginning of Chaturmas.

UP CM remarked in a post on X, “Salutations

to that all-pervading Lord of the universe, the primordial one, who brings

about the dissolution of cosmic states, to Vishnu, the Supreme Soul. On the

sacred date of Devshayani Ekadashi, the auspicious occasion of Lord Shri Hari's

entry into divine 'Yognidra,' this prayer to the Master of the Three Worlds is

that His grace may ever abide upon the entire creation. May happiness, peace,

and prosperity permeate the lives of all devotees.”
