Mumbai, 24 July (HS): Congress party National
President Mallikarjun Kharge and Maharashtra Unit President Harshavardhan
Sapkal have given a call for candle march and satyagrah across the nation to
protest NEET and CBSE paper leakage and alleged negligence by the Union
Government. The agitation will be staged on July 25 and 26 in all the districts
of India.
Kharge has alleged that during the last ten years paper
leakage was reported on 152 occasion. However, Modi-led government has remained
silent. The government is reluctant in seeking resignation from Education
Mnister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Kharge has also demanded resignation of Pradhan and
discussion in the Parliament on the issue. The offences registered against the
protesters should be withdrawn immediately and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
Union Home Minister Amit Shah should apologise to the protesting students.
