
Amravati, 23 July (HS): Amravati’s Badnera Police
raided a poultry shed to detect spurious cement factory and bags of reputed
cement companies. The shed on Anjangaobari-Majri Mhasala road was operating in
a poultry shed in an agriculture farm.
Police seized raw material and machinery along with
empty bags of reputed cement companies worth Rs 3.43 lakh. Offence against the
operator staying in Gawlipura in Badnera has been registered under various
sections of the Bharatiya Nyan Samhita (BNS).
According to a police officer, Nitin Narayan Thakre
(48) of Bhopal and a representative of a cement company lodged a complaint
based on his information. Based on the complaint Police raided the place and
registered an offence against Yusuf Sheikh Babbu (40).
Police are investigating into the racket behind marketing
of the spurious cement.
