Balrampur, 22 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath, on the second day of his two-day visit to Devipatan, performed the

ritualistic worship of Goddess Pateshwari at the Shaktipeeth Devipatan Temple

on the eighth day of the Gupta Navratri on Wednesday. He prayed to the Goddess

for prosperity, peace, and well-being for the state and the country.

The Chief Minister reached Devipatan Temple on Tuesday

evening at around 5 pm. After spending the night at the temple, he reached the

sanctum sanctorum of the temple at around 7 am on Wednesday morning, where he

performed Ashtami puja and special worship. After darshan and puja, the Chief

Minister visited the temple premises along with Devipatan Peethadhishwar Mahant

Mithilesh Nath Yogi Maharaj. After this, the Chief Minister went to the cowshed

located in the temple premises, where he fed green fodder to the cows with his

own hands and caressed them. After spending some time at the cowshed, he

returned to the temple premises. During this, the Chief Minister distributed

chocolates to the small children present on the way and met them cordially.

There was an atmosphere of excitement among the devotees

present at the temple during the Chief Minister's visit. Devotees chanted

Long Live Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Jai Maa

Pateshwari. The Chief Minister also acknowledged the devotees' greetings.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived

at the Devipatan temple on Tuesday evening. Upon his arrival, he met with

public representatives and officials to review ongoing development work in the

area and discuss various schemes. After offering prayers and performing cow

service on Wednesday, the Chief Minister departed for Lucknow.
