
New Delhi, 21 July (H.S.): Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar, along with Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Sanjay Raut, Arvind Sawant and other party leaders, visited Jantar Mantar on Tuesday and met the protesters to inquire about their well-being.
The information was shared by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief Abhijeet Dipke in a post on X. According to Dipke, the leaders strongly condemned the alleged lathi charge on protesters during Monday’s demonstration and extended their support to students protesting against examination irregularities and alleged police action.
Sanjay Raut and Arvind Sawant said that the movement, which is being carried out for the future of students, would not be stopped. They added that if required, they would also join the hunger strike in support of the protesters.
