JP Nadda Visits Injured Youths at RML Hospital, Directs Doctors to Ensure Best Medical Care

New Delhi, 21 July (H.S.):

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda on Tuesday made a surprise visit to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital to meet youths injured during the clashes and police action that took place during the Cockroach Janta Party’s ‘Parliament March’.

At the hospital, the Health Minister met the injured youths and enquired about their health condition. Union Minister JP Nadda also held a meeting with doctors at RML Hospital, reviewed the treatment being provided to the injured, and directed the medical team to ensure that all patients receive the best possible healthcare facilities.

After visiting RML Hospital, Nadda also reached Lady Hardinge Medical College and Hospital to take stock of the condition of the injured.

It may be noted that several students were injured during clashes between protesters and security personnel while marching from Jantar Mantar towards Parliament and were admitted to hospitals for treatment.

As per reports, 65 injured persons are undergoing treatment at RML Hospital, while 82 injured individuals are receiving medical care at Lady Hardinge Hospital. Leaders from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party are also reported to have visited the hospitals to meet the injured.
