New Delhi, 21 July (H.S.):

The Congress party on Tuesday staged a protest near the Prime Minister’s residence over the alleged examination paper leaks and the police action during the protest at Jantar Mantar. The demonstration is being led by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

During the protest, Congress leaders demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him responsible for the alleged lapses in the examination system.

Congress MPs alleged that police action was taken against students who were participating in a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, describing it as a violation of their democratic rights.
