Delhi’s

agitation misused by politicians

(HS): The first list of farmers to benefit from the loan waiver declared by

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, will be released on July 22, the birth

anniversary of the late Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

Fadnavis addressed

a press conference in Mumbai and inauguration of photo exhibition based on Ajit

Pawar’s life and work.

Efforts are

being made to release the first list of farmer beneficiary on July 22. The

Cooperative Department has made all the preparations to release the list to

mark the birth anniversary of Ajit Pawar, he said.

He also

announced to have inaugurated the photo exhibition depicting pictures of Ajit Pawar

since his childhood, his social and political journey.

Referring to the

ongoing agitation in Delhi, he said everyone has right to protest and stage

agitation in democracy. The Constitution has given this right to everyone. The

agitation, however, should be peaceful with the permission from the appropriate

authority. Politically vested interests, however, are purposefully spreading violence

which cannot be tolerated.

The faceless

agitation is being used by some selfish parties and individuals with an intension

to create unrest. Police have handled the situation patiently. However, cane-charge

becomes essential when the situation goes out of control. No Government would

like to order cane-charge or other methods to control the agitation, he added.

Taking undue

advantage of the agitation others are enforcing a different agenda, he said.
