Majuli (Assam), 21 July (HS): Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Tuesday visited several flood-affected areas under the 53 No. Garmur Panchayat in Majuli to assess the impact of the floods and interact with affected residents.

During his visit, Gogoi inspected the embankments in Ward No. 3 and Ward No. 2, as well as the flood-affected areas of Ward No. 1, including Alengmora, Chengeliyati and Shalmora. He reviewed the prevailing flood situation and took stock of the hardships being faced by the affected people.

Following his visit to Majuli, the MP left for the Titabor constituency to assess the flood situation there and review the condition of flood-affected residents.------------
