Biswanath (Assam), 21 July (HS): A case of Love Jihad involving the alleged abduction and rape of a minor girl has sparked significant outrage in Biswanath district.

According to the complaint, a young man named Nur Hussain allegedly posed as Rahul to befriend a Hindu minor girl, trapped her in a love affair, and then kidnapped and sexually assaulted her.

Police arrested the accused, Nur Hussain, soon after the incident came to light. Investigations are ongoing.

In the aftermath of the incident, angry locals allegedly set fire to the accused’s residence. To maintain law and order, security has been tightened across the area by the police.

It is important to note that the allegations against the accused will be established only after a thorough police investignation and completion of the due legal process.------------
