
Ghaziabad, 18 July (HS): During his tour of Ghaziabad
district, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reached the Shri
Dudheshwarnath Mahadev Math Temple of historical and mythological importance
and performed Jalabhishek, Dudhbhishek and special puja-archana of Lord Shiva as
per the rituals. The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Bholenath, wishing for
happiness, prosperity, health and public welfare of the people of the state. It
is noteworthy that Shri Dudheshwarnath Mahadev Math Temple is an ancient and
historical Shivadham of Ghaziabad, which is considered to be the main center of
Sanatan culture, spiritual practice and Vedic tradition.
The Chief Minister also offered flowers to the Shivalingas
located in the temple premises, visited Nandi Maharaj and offered flowers with
reverence, and inquired about the well-being of the saints and sages residing
in the monastery premises. The temple's head priest, the saint community, and
devotees were present on this occasion. The worship ceremony, which concluded
amidst Vedic chanting and Shiva praise, filled the entire atmosphere with
devotion and spiritual energy.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a cordial conversation
with the Veda-studying students and Sanskrit students studying the Vedas in the
temple premises. Encouraging the students, he described the preservation and
promotion of the Indian knowledge tradition, Vedic culture, and Sanskrit
language as an important basis for nation-building. The Chief Minister said
that Sanskrit is not just a language, but a vehicle of India's eternal
knowledge stream, through which our cultural consciousness and spiritual heritage
have been preserved over generations.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inspected the
arrangements at the monastery and temple complex and accepted the greetings of
the devotees present. Upon his arrival at the temple, he was welcomed by
Veda-reading students with Vedic chants and a shower of flowers. The Chief
Minister also discussed various topics related to peace, harmony, cultural
upliftment, and public welfare in the state with the saint community.
