Lucknow, 18 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the issueless opposition has now resorted to

shallow politics of illusion. Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike, accompanied by

the leftist drumbeat, is a living proof of this.

The Deputy Chief Minister wrote in a social media post on

Saturday that the opposition continues to manipulate certain sections of

society with false tactics, such as the farmers' protest, Shaheen Bagh, SIR,

and the false politics of infiltration. The public has responded democratically

to each of their nefarious tactics. Instead of falling prey to false illusions,

the country's citizens now base their decisions on development, security, and

good governance.

Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote that in a democracy, the people

are the ultimate rulers, and nothing can remain hidden from them. The frustration

of the opposition and its leaders, estranged from power, is now steadily

transforming into hatred. This has been escalating over the past 12 years. This

demonstrates the nation's continued confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party

(BJP) and the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The election

results of three consecutive Lok Sabha elections, along with those in several

states, favoring the NDA-BJP, reinforce this confidence.

The Deputy Chief Minister wrote that the core principle of

BJP politics has been that the party is greater than the individual, and the

country is greater than the party. This is why the public's trust is steadily

increasing with the BJP's resolve for a developed India. To realize the dream

of a developed India, every state must also reach new heights of development.

This task is only possible through the double-engine government's vision,

mission, good governance, and public welfare policies. Where the BJP is in

power, the public has decided to give it another chance. Even in states where

it is not in power, the public is vowing change. The lotus will bloom there too

in the elections, and the BJP will form the government.
