Sambhal, 18 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath
visited Sambhal on Saturday and during this he gave a gift of Rs 569 crore to
the people of the district. Today at around 4 pm, the CM's helicopter reached
the grounds of the Integrated Headquarters building located in village Fatehpur
Sharifnagar near Sambhal's district headquarters Bahjoi. To attend the program,
State Government's Minister of State for Cooperation and District In-charge
Minister JPS Rathore, State Government's Minister of State for Secondary
Education Gulab Devi, District Panchayat President Anamika Yadav, BJP District
President Chaudhary Harendra Singh and many other BJP leaders reached.
During his visit, CM Yogi Adityanath, besides inaugurating
and laying the foundation stone of 66 projects worth Rs 569 crore in the
district, also virtually unveiled Asia's tallest 145-feet Ganesha statue in
dancing posture and the statue of Lord Ram built in Rambagh Dham in the
Chandausi assembly constituency of Minister of State for Secondary Education
Gulab Devi.
While addressing the public meeting, Chief Minister of Uttar
Pradesh Yogi Adityanath came to the under-construction Integrated District
Headquarters complex at Bahjoi today and laid the foundation stone of 66
development projects of Sambhal and Chandausi, which are worth about Rs 570
crore. The Chief Minister virtually unveiled the 145 feet high statue of Lord
Shri Ganesh ji and 51 feet high statue of Lord Shri Ram in Chandausi.
Addressing the public gathering, Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath said that today I had the privilege of unveiling the 145 feet high
Ganesha statue and 51 feet high Lord Shri Ram statue in Chandausi. This Sambhal
is the holy land of Lord Shri Hari Vishnu. 599 years ago in 1526, foreign
invaders desecrated it. Whenever foreign invaders come, they not only loot the
treasure but also destroy the religion and culture. This sin has been committed
here. The holy Harihar temple has been demolished, 68 pilgrimage sites have
been desecrated, 19 wells have been occupied, the existence of Sambhal has been
tampered with. Riots took place here in 1976 and 1978, hundreds of innocent
people were killed, no one was punished. What is the consequence of slavery to
invaders, this was seen in Sambhal. The sin that was committed 500 years ago,
now there is a double engine government. 68 pilgrimage sites and 19 wells are
being revived as well. Funds have also been allocated for the 24 Kosi
Parikrama.
Here, 10 thousand acres of land was occupied. Once there was
a government of SP and the sinners, the poor people here were suffering the ill
effects of this, but now it has been distributed among the Dalits and the poor
people here, who had 10 thousand acres of land. At that time, the Congress and
SP government also destroyed the records of that land, but records can be
destroyed, truth cannot be destroyed.
He said that earlier Kanwar Yatra was stopped, Ramnavmi
Shobha Yatra was stopped, Durga Ji's Yatra was stopped, what more can be
expected from these slaves, what do they have to do with the heritage, they
want power at any cost, shame on them, they used to insult the poor.
Before 2017, no one dared to take the name of Sambhal. A
Turk used to come here, wear a cap over his eyes and insult India and Indians
by calling himself a descendant of Babar. Now the Turkism of the Turk cannot
work. Now whatever will happen in Sambhal will be the order of Hari Har Mandir.
Now, whoever tries to occupy your land, his genie will be brought out from his
grave after 100 years and his work will be done away with in minutes.
He said that earlier SP had supported the Congress
government from time to time and their Prime Minister used to say that when we
send Rs 100, only Rs 15 reaches the public and Rs 85 is taken away by the
middlemen. Those Rs 85 were looted, the money meant for the ration of the poor,
scholarship of the students, money meant for the handicapped, money meant for
the marriage of daughters was embezzled. Today when Modi ji and Yogi press for
distribution, Rs 100 goes directly into his account and today if anyone tries
to take part, he goes straight to jail.
Sambhal has a notorious history under the Congress
government. What a huge riot took place in 1978, today there is no riot, no
curfew. Today there is neither curfew nor riot, everything is fine in Sambhal. He
said that today whoever breaches the safety of the daughter will either be in
jail or in hell, there is no third place. He said that before 2017, there was a
government which did not think about the poor, Dalits, deprived and backward
people. The head of that government used to wake up at 12 o'clock, get ready at
2 o'clock, go to the gym at 5 o'clock, return from the gym at 7 o'clock, then
his party would be held, the state was missing, rioters were called to the
Chief Minister's residence and honoured. Now, there has been no riot in the
last 9 years. He said that a Maulvi from Bareilly was very restless, you must
have seen how he was treated, we had said that we will bury the mafias, now the
work of burying the mafias is going on.
