Guwahati, 18 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday congratulated Skyroot Aerospace on the successful launch of Vikram-1, describing it as a landmark achievement for India's space industry and private entrepreneurship.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the launch of Vikram-1 represents a new pinnacle for both India's space sector and the country's entrepreneurial capabilities. He extended his compliments to the entire Skyroot Aerospace team for accomplishing India's first private orbital launch.
