Guwahati, 18 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday extended warm birthday greetings to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on behalf of the people of Assam.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister praised Vaishnaw's leadership in driving the modernization of the Indian Railways, accelerating the country's digital transformation through information technology and electronics manufacturing, and strengthening the information and broadcasting sector.

Dr. Sarma also acknowledged the Union Minister's consistent support for the people of Assam whenever needed. He prayed to Goddess Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardeva for Vaishnaw's good health, happiness and continued success in the years ahead.-----------
