
Hooghly, 16 July (H.S.): West Bengal Minister of State for Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Labour, Bhaskar Bhattacharya, won the hearts of guests by performing Rabindra Sangeet and light classical songs during his birthday celebration late Wednesday night. His soulful performance received a standing ovation and prolonged applause from the audience.
The grand celebration was held at Sagar Marriage Hall in Serampore and was attended by nearly 100 distinguished guests from political, social, and cultural circles. The event was marked by warmth, camaraderie, and a festive atmosphere.
Among those present were Uttarpara MLA Dipanjan Chakraborty, BJP state leader Krishna Bhattacharya, senior BJP leader Shyamal Bose, former district BJP president Mohan Adak, BJP leaders Rakesh Chowdhury, Rakesh Singh, and Amit Brahma, Rishra Municipality councillors Shashi Singh (Ward 11) and Manoj Singh (Ward 10), along with several other prominent personalities.
The celebration featured cake-cutting and cultural performances. Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharya thanked the guests for their warm wishes, affection, and continued support.
