
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor 400 successful
youth trained under Skill Development Mission and ITI

Lucknow, 14 July (HS): A high-level review meeting was held
under the chairmanship of Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent
Charge) for the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship, at the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat on Tuesday regarding the
preparations for the programme Skill to Self-Reliance, Self-Reliance to
Respect to be organised on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on July
15, 2026.
During the meeting, Minister Kapil Dev Agrawal, while
reviewing all the program's arrangements in detail, directed the officials to
ensure that every arrangement for the event is timely, well-organized, and
dignified. He said that this World Youth Skills Day celebration is a
celebration of the skills, talent, and self-reliance of the state's youth.
Negligence at any level will not be tolerated, and every department should
ensure the discharge of its responsibilities with mutual coordination.
Minister Agarwal said that under the leadership of Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is making skill
development an effective means of youth empowerment. Continuous work is being
done to make millions of youth in the state self-reliant by connecting them
with training, employment, and self-employment.
It is noteworthy that in this program, organized on the
occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor
400 successful youth who have become self-reliant through employment and
entrepreneurship after receiving training from the Uttar Pradesh Skill
Development Mission and State Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). This
program will inspire the state's youth to move forward in the direction of
skill, innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
Principal Secretary, Department of Vocational Education,
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hariom, Director of Training and
Employment Abhishek Singh, Mission Director of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development
Mission Pulkit Khare and senior officers of the department were present in the
meeting.
