New Delhi, June 4 (H.S.): Water bowls have been placed across the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Amrit Udyan, and other premises to provide relief to birds during the intense summer heat. President Droupadi Murmu said that these water bowls are offering significant relief to birds. On Thursday, a video showcasing the initiative was shared through the President’s official X handle. The video features birds drinking water from the bowls and underscores the importance of caring for nature and wildlife. Through the message, the President made an indirect appeal to citizens to remain sensitive and compassionate toward the environment and living creatures.

Praising the efforts undertaken for birds during the scorching summer season, the President described the initiative as a reflection of sensitivity and harmony with nature. She said that the water bowls placed at Amrit Udyan and other locations within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex are providing comfort and relief to birds during this challenging weather.

She further remarked that it is a small yet meaningful effort that reflects compassion toward animals and promotes the spirit of harmonious coexistence with all living beings. The President emphasized that such simple initiatives play an important role in strengthening environmental conservation and reinforcing humane values.
